I had been hearing about Gopher Records for awhile now and the wonderful results they were getting. Finally several weeks I decided to place an order myself with them. 1st I want to say is that you are not asked to pay until the records are found. I was quite impressed with that. I have a subscription to Fold3 and one grandfather they found a little more, but not a whole lot…..but I was shocked at the size of my 2nd grandfather’s file. For example in his pension file it had all of his handwritten letters thru out the years when he would ask for a raise in his pension. His character definitely came out in some of those letters which I loved. I cannot THANK YOU enough and can’t wait to order more!!
One last thing, they were cheaper than if I had ordered thru NARA and I was amazed at how quickly I got the records. It was 2 full weeks quicker than the estimated time they said it would take!!
