I was very frustrated with waiting for the National Archives to provide me with copies of two pension records. A friend told me about this awesome company that would be able to go locate them in a fraction of the time. I cancelled the request with NARA, submitted a request to Gopher Records and had the records in less than a week. The estimate they gave me to complete the work order was one month, so they successfully exceeded my exceptions with the quick service. I would absolutely use them again!
In addition, I located a document that I have long been searching for…. the divorce record for the first marriage of my great great grandmother was included in her claim for a Widow’s Pension (Civil War veteran and husband #2) as well as information about her 2nd and 3rd marriages!
