After waiting 2 1/2 years for any response from the National Archives I found out about Gopher Records as a means to attain these records. In only 5 days I had the medical, enlistment and pension records for my great great grandfather. Amazing.
I belong to a DNA group at my local genealogy library and at our monthly meeting I told everyone about the great service I received from Gopher and highly recommended that if anyone needed any of this type of records to be sure to contact them. I am highly satisfied.
