GOPHER RECORDS

I am thrilled with my experience requesting copies of 2 Civil War pension files. I received them within days of submitting my order, and the quality of the scans is fantastic. I was really impressed by how simple and organized the process was, too. As soon as I paid my invoice, I received the link to download the files. I really appreciated how certain things were highlighted like a variance in names in the records, and no medical carded medical records to be found.
I will definitely use Gopher Records again when I need files but can’t make it to D.C. myself. I don’t see why I would ever need to order through the NARA website again, either.
