This was my first Civil War ancestor who I had researched. Bob returned a wealth of information that not only answered questions as to specific service such as which military units my ancestor was assigned to, but I found out my ancestor was captured at the Battle of Wilderness and held as a prisoner of war at Andersonville. The pension file that Bob returned cleared up several mysteries regarding my ancestor and his first wife, and included testimony from several of my ancestors family members, thus confirming their place in my family tree. All in all, the service was fantastic, and the turnaround time from initial request, to records deliver was minimal. I believe a week or two. I’m looking forward to having other Civil War ancestors researched. Thank you Bob!
