GOPHER RECORDS

I heard about Gopher on a Civil War Facebook page I’m a member in, and didn’t have high expectations for affordability OR quick turnaround. Let’s face it: Genealogy work is endlessly disappointing with costs and time to wait to receive what you’re looking for. I filled out a free records assessment and Bob replied within two days (incredible!) with a level of detail I didn’t expect from a free evaluation. I had initially only hoped to find medical records of my ancestor’s injuries, but Bob found some interesting paperwork filed by a Congress member, so I ended up ordering everything! The cost seemed negligible compared to the amount of documentation I received, and the turnaround was much faster than anticipated. I’m so glad to have found Gopher and just wish I could use you for other National Archives document searches! 🙂
