I placed a rather large order for Pension & CMSR files that consisted of (5) brothers serving in the Civil War and I probably complicated the order as one of the brothers had (5) different service records. I’ve used Gopher Records twice and it’s so much better than the NARA. There’s wonderful communication, Records retrieval is a few weeks instead of months, and the cost is reasonable. I request a digital copy and the pdf file is complete and readable.
