While I was on a Facebook page pertaining to the Civil War, I asked for information anout two of my GGG Grandfathers tgat both fought for the Union. I have used gopher records.com at least 4 times to get the Civil War records for ancestors. I am so pleased with their service; it is very fast and accurate. If I had to go through National Archives myself it would take much longer to get the records. You pay nothing until they find something. As soon as you send payment the documents are emailed for downloading. I highly recommend their professional services.

I ordered two sets of civil war pension records & they came sooner than I expected. In one I found genealogy info I was hoping for. The 2nd one turned out not to be my John Miller but his file was interesting to read. I will give it to our NY genealogical society for their family files & hopefully someone will find it.
