We had searched all avenues, I have mailed the Archives with a request form for the same information requested from Gopher. They informed me there was no information available. Not only did we get the information we had hoped for, but we got more!! Thanks so much.

I ordered the service record of my 3rd great grandfather and I was very pleased with the results. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the service record only a few days after ordering them! I will definitely be ordering more records in the future!

If you are absolutely sure that you have the right soldier, I would recommend ordering the service records and the pension records .

I've recently had two occasions to use Gopher's services and both times I was extremely pleased. The first time, they retrieved NARA records for me in an efficient, timely fashion and at a cost that was more than reasonable. The second time, although what I wanted was outside of Gopher's range of services, Bob took the time to advise me on other ways to find what I was looking for, even to the point of providing titles, links, etc. I will definitely use Gopher again.
