This special bundle includes the three most popular record types for a Union soldier in the Civil War:
Each of these products can be ordered separately but the bundle price is lower than the sum of its parts. Also, if the soldier served in more than one regiment, then the bundle includes ALL of his service and medical records which is much less expensive than if you order them separately.
This bundle applies to Union soldiers in the Civil War only. Confederate records are not available at the National Archives. See this FAQ for more information.

Note that if we determine through the index that there are no surviving service records for the soldier, then we will notify you and the price of the bundle will be reduced accordingly. The same is true if neither the veteran nor his widow/dependents received a pension with respect to his service.
The collection of Carded Medical Records has been closed for digitization by NARA in the case of regiments from AL, AR, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, and IL. So if your soldier is from one of those states, the medical records will be removed from the bundle and the price reduced accordingly.
