I couldn’t recommend Gopher Records enough. I recently heard about them via social media and I had a military file to order from NARA. Rather than wait almost a year (or more) for that file, I decided to try out Gopher Records. Boy am I glad I did. Easy to navigate site with alot of information. Placed my order and received downloadable documents in about 2 weeks. I won't even guess how long it would've taken with NARA, but definitely a much longer time. Also gopher is much easier to order and affordable if ordering multiple records.

I needed help with two sets of homestead records and thought I had provided an attachment that I managed to leave out, but this did not slow Bob down at all. He jumped out, looked up the information online that I thought I had attached, and sent back a note confirming that he had what I was looking for.
