Gopher Records did a great job of researching my ancestor and providing a lot of information that I didn't know was available. Land records, Service records, and Pension records all of which provided a story of his life and filled in a lot of details. I have been trying to get a pension file for several years, it took 18 months for NARA to share with me that it was held by the VA Office, and another researcher I'd paid to find the file never replied back. I placed a rather large order for Pension & CMSR files that consisted of (5) brothers serving in the Civil War and I probably complicated the order as one of the brothers had (5) different service records.
