While the file was not for my Jacob Myers, it was interesting to read about his Civil War activity. I had based my request on someone's tree who incorrectly identified this Jacob Myers as my ancestor of the same name. I had my doubts, but the only way to eliminate this as my Jacob Myers was to access the pension file. Negative evidence is still evidence. I appreciate the work of Gopher Records in quickly providing the file for my perusal. I will definitely be using the service again. The scans were excellent. Thanks again.
