Very happy with my high quality scans of an ancestors Civil War pension file. 115 pages! While it hasn’t broken through my brick wall, I did find an extra kid in his family there are no records on elsewhere plus marriage date and location I didn’t have before. Would not hesitate to use this service even if I were in DC near the archives! They did a better job than I could do on my own.

Ordered 10 total Civil War Bundles during ground hog day sale. Within 10 days my inbox was full with all 10 bundles. A few days later there was another email that a few more documents were found and provided for one of my soldiers. Have only had time to review one bundle so far - there are over 200 pages in that one. Images are excellent and more information than I ever thought would be found. I wrote the NARA personally. I filled out their paperwork and waited 3 months for a reply which was "there is nothing available on this individual". I was certain that my 3rd great grandfather had fought in the War of 1812. Family stories were very strong on his behalf but I had no documentation to prove.
