As with previous orders, the service is fast, and the copies of the documents are great. Unlike the official file copies that NARA provides, these are not black and white photocopies. Rather, they are pictures or scans of each document in the applicable file. In many cases front and back of the document. I much prefer to have these rather than the photocopies. In fact, I plan to order copies of some files that I already have NARA photocopies of, because I want the better quality copies.

I received the requested information very quickly. Will return as my relatives are found.

Gopher Records has retrieved several pensions for me. I could not be happier with their service and price. Each has contained valuable information--much of it containing sole-source genealogical facts. I have found pension fraud, child abandonment, bigamy, communications of historic import, and a physical artifact. I had ordered a record through the National Archives then found out the wait time was up to 90 days.
