I'd heard of Gopher Records and was interested in trying it out. So I submitted a request for my great-great grandfather's Civil War records just to give the service a test. I already had a fair amount of information and just wanted to see what they might come up with. They came back with a treasure trove of previously unknown information about not only him but his through wife and family through the pension records. The process is quick and easy. Loved it and will definitely be using it again.

For my line with many men of the same name, Alfred Ridge is a son of Thomas Ridge, I thought an unmarried man's records could name siblings and parents.
