Quick service

Gopher Records has a quick turnaround time for their service. I have used a different service in the past, and it took weeks to get my records. It is usually just days through Gopher Records. I won't be using any other service now.

Great Experience

My order was completed quickly and completely. Very happy. Will use again!

Mexican War Records

Requested several records and pension for a Mexican War soldier. The website to submit the request is very thorough and pleasing. Very informative and easy to use - nothing just thrown together. The status was continually updated and the turnaround time was very quick. The digital copies were very clear and well done. I can not recommend using Gopher Records enough for your National Archives needs enough. Top notch organization and service through the entire process.

follow the yellow brick road

To discover original documentation of my great-grandparents homestead felt like I found a pot of gold. I hadn't known these additional records existed despite years of family research. I've even written a book about being a descendant of immigrants who homesteaded of reservation lands coming out this June (The Land of Everlasting Sky: Loss and Legacy on Lake of the Woods, She Writes Press, distributed by Simon and Schuster). The research never ends! It was easy to submit my request and the turnaround time was less than expected. Top notch professionalism and customer service provided by Bob Velke of [...]

Great job

Although my ancestor's parents were not named in the documents (no one's fault), these people obtain my requested information quickly, efficiently and reasonably priced. I thank the group for a job well done. Cheryl

Bounty Land Warrant War of 1812

Gopher Records found a Bounty Land Application and Warrant for the heirs of a soldier who died in the War of 1812. Two previous searches by others could not find it. It included affidavits to two courts identifying the soldier's wife and all of his children who were alive at the date of his death plus their ages. No other researcher of this family had a complete list of the children. I have spread it around to the others. It also included a letter from the government detailing the soldier's enlistment. The [...]

Return Customer- Happy Again!

I was so pleased with my order of pension records that I came back to ask for homestead records- and the service was excellent! Excellent communication, the work was done on a timely schedule, and the price was very reasonable. The setup for ordering records and the payment and delivery system work beautifully. I'm going to be back and in the meantime, I'm recommending Gopher Records to friends working on their own family trees.

Civil War Service Pension files

This is my third time requesting files, and I have to say, the service you provide is outstanding. Prompt clear communication and quick turnaround every time. Not to mention exceptional value. It costs less to have my records copied and delivered to my computer than a tank of gas to drive to D.C. and then have to research and wade through red tape. I have found out more about my ancestor than I thought possible from his pension file. The copies were clear and complete and to date, I'm probably close to 1,000 pages [...]

Record retrieval

I had requested the retrieval of my second great grandfather's Civil War records. Within hours of submitting my request, he had responded telling me what was available and the cost. Within 2 days, I had my records to download and print. GopherRecords live up to their promises and I will use again if I find my records that I need. Diane B
