I'm very pleased with the service I got from Gopher Records. It was quicker and more affordable than NARA. The amount of information discovered was surprisingly small relative to what could be expected, so I was very pleased when Bob gave me excellent suggestions based on his expertise on where to search next. I'd definitely recommend this service to anyone.

I sent a request for records for a Union soldier I was doing research on and the information I requested came to me in full within two weeks. The documents were scanned, so all I needed to do was download them to my computer and review them at my leisure. I highly recommend Gopher to anyone who is in need of National Archives research.

For a very cheap price I found out things about my great grandfather I never knew. I had searched his records before however Gopher Records came up with military records I failed to find. Great people to work with.

While the file was not for my Jacob Myers, it was interesting to read about his Civil War activity. I had based my request on someone's tree who incorrectly identified this Jacob Myers as my ancestor of the same name. I had my doubts, but the only way to eliminate this as my Jacob Myers was to access the pension file. Negative evidence is still evidence. I appreciate the work of Gopher Records in quickly providing the file for my perusal. I will definitely be using the service again. The scans were excellent. Thanks again.
