I would’ve never found these records on my own!
I only recently learned about gopherrecords.com. I was glad to find out I could request a search for War of 1812 records for one of my elusive brick wall ancestors and within about a week I had gotten the records back.
The quality of the images was high and the digital delivery was easy. I will certainly use this site again if I need future American archived military records for genealogy research.

Can Find Those Records!
Without a doubt Gopher Records is my go to for document retrival. I've used their service multiple times. They have been consistant in processing and filling my requests. They are quick to respond to my questions.

Wonderful service from Gopher Records
I heard about Gopher Records on Civil War Talk Radio, so I decided to give it a try. I had 40+ year-old faded, poor quality photocopies of my great-great grandfather's Civil War records that I wanted to update/replace and also asked for records on two other Civil War veteran ancestors. Gopher Records noted that records on one veteran were already digitized and available on Fold3. Records for the other two were provided 8 days after I requested them. The scan quality is excellent. I'll definitely use Gopher Records again. Thank You.

Great work!
I've been trying to find information about an ancestor of mine who served in the Civil War. He seems to have been in trouble several times and might have been court martialed at some point. I couldn't find any information on my own. I reached out to Gopher Records to see if they could help. They weren't able to find any court martial records (no charge for that). I asked if there might be another way to get information about his service and Gopher suggested looking at the Regimental Order Book. I [...]

War of 1812 soldier records
Great service again from Gopher Records! The records arrived in my email in just 2 days. That was faster than I could drive to NARA! Clear emails and clear records. I have recommended Gopher Records before to my genealogy friends and will do so again. Keep up the good work!

fast, reliable, honest
I highly recommend Gopher Records. All of my questions were answered prior to placing my order. The application process was easy. My records were provided quickly and a pension file that was already digitized was given to me free of charge. The records provided birthdate, marriage date and proved that I had the proper burial location for my ancestor. Highly recommend not only for genealogical purposes but also to pay respect for ancestors military service.

Brick Wall Demolished
Thanks so much to Gopher Records for the information obtained. We've searched for information on this ancestor for decades and it was truly a brick wall for us. Tried to obtain some of this info pre-Covid thru other routes and was unsuccessful. Through GopherRecords we got more than we could have asked for and that brick wall is down and new paths are open to us with this information. Lots of questions were answered and now lots of new questions to explore. My 82-year-old aunt almost cried when I shared with her and she [...]

Wonderful service
This is my second Civil War Pension record request through Gopher Records. It was very easy to submit the request, each one was done in a timely manner and the scans are perfect. Without them I would never have been able to access these records which have been crucial to my research. I highly recommend Gopher Records!

My Civil War Grandfather
I sought background information for my third great grandfathers time as a Civil Warrior. Sadly, he was captured in Spotsylvania and sent to Andersonville where he died and is now buried.
Bob did a great job seeking out my grandfather’s record.
Thank you!
