Bob did it again, and what a great find! This Widow's Pension file he retrieved for me solved a few puzzles regarding the sibling of an ancestor. Ancestry had showed me previously a marriage record *after* all the children were born, this file explained there was no documentation of their first ceremony so they married again. I was also wondering why I couldn't find a death record for her husband - turns out he went back to his homeland (Germany) and died there.

Far faster and less hassle than dealing directly with NARA. Super quick, very responsive communication, all-around rare excellent experience. Any records I need in the future, I'm going with Gopher. Go for it!

Ordered 10 total Civil War Bundles during ground hog day sale. Within 10 days my inbox was full with all 10 bundles. (May have been less, I didn't keep track of time) That compared to the MONTHS I waited when I ordered from another company. This is the first time I used the service and I was not disappointed. The price was better than NARA and the response was so much quicker. They gave me an estimated date for document delivery and ended up providing them in half the time. I would use them again.
