This was my first time using Gopher Records and it could not have been a better experience. The file I needed was not in DC and Bob was able to track it down at the Veterans Administration...he even did the Freedom of Information Act request for me. I have no experience ordering from the VA and would have been totally lost. The next time I need a record, I will not hesitate to use Gopher Records.

I've recently had two occasions to use Gopher's services and both times I was extremely pleased. The first time, they retrieved NARA records for me in an efficient, timely fashion and at a cost that was more than reasonable. The second time, although what I wanted was outside of Gopher's range of services, Bob took the time to advise me on other ways to find what I was looking for, even to the point of providing titles, links, etc. I will definitely use Gopher again.

I have requested several USCT Civil War Pension files through Gopher Records and the service and turnaround time has been exceptional, not to mention the rates. Several of my colleagues have used the service to request Civil War pension files as well. I have not heard any unfavorable feedback regarding the service from Gopher Records.

I am thoroughly impressed with Gopher Records. The ordering process was simple and I was able to provide plenty of documentation easily. I was so surprised by the quick turnaround, especially when ordering directly from the National Archives can take months and is costly. The quality of the scan was outstanding and I'm still combing through all the details. I'm so thankful to have found such a wonderful service that offers a fair price. This is the second time I've used Gopher Records. I received poor copies of a pension record from NARA, so I turned to Gopher Records. The quality and readability of the information were significantly better. I highly recommend their service and would use them again.
