I knew that my great, great, great grandfather and his brothers fought in the Civil War for the 12th Kansas Regiment. Gopher was responsive and quick, providing me with medical papers, discharge papers, service records and other documents - incredible! This is as close as I'll get to Joseph, William and John and provides a peek into their lives as Civil War soldiers.
