Gopher Records has a quick turnaround time for their service. I have used a different service in the past, and it took weeks to get my records. It is usually just days through Gopher Records. I won't be using any other service now.

Requested several records and pension for a Mexican War soldier. The website to submit the request is very thorough and pleasing. Very informative and easy to use - nothing just thrown together. The status was continually updated and the turnaround time was very quick. The digital copies were very clear and well done. I can not recommend using Gopher Records enough for your National Archives needs enough. Top notch organization and service through the entire process.

Previously this year, I had requested records directly from NARA. I believe the cost was in the range of $80 and it took 6 weeks to receive. I had a similar request for Gopher Records and they delivered the records in two weeks for about half the cost. I will definitely use them in the future!

I ordered two Civil War pension files on the same day, one from a service I'd used several times in the past, and one from Gopher Records. I received the file from Gopher in record time, and the images are crystal clear. Bob even took the trouble to text me a photo of my husband's great-great-grandfather while he was still at the National Archives, which was a nice touch and greatly appreciated. I've since ordered and received a second pension file from Gopher--while still waiting for the one I ordered from the other place.
