I received the files much sooner than I had anticipated, which gave me time to review them to determine the pertinent ancestry before a trip planned for further research. A tricky twist was the fact that the records appear under several different spellings, as was common among the Irish 150+ years ago. After waiting 2 1/2 years for any response from the National Archives I found out about Gopher Records as a means to attain these records. In only 5 days I had the medical, enlistment and pension records for my great great grandfather. Amazing. Messaged Gopher Records to get Civil War records for one of my ancestors. One week later I had a 90+pg Widow's Pension File along wtih records of my ancestors service during the war. Such a wealth of information, and always great communication and follow up. Can't recommend them enough!
