I had heard of Gopher Records before and decided to try them out. I am very satisfied with the results. I have used the National Archives process long before COVID and that was good but Gopher Records got results much faster and was well worth the price.

I have been requesting not just my direct line soldiers but also the brothers, uncles, and all who served in each family. I've recently ordered two Civil War or later pension files from NARA through Gopher. Very quick service, great customer contact emails, extremely low price. The scans were high quality and complete. I'd highly recommend them even if you live near DC, you'll spend more time getting to NARA, waiting for records to be pulled, going through the files. Just use Gopher!
