Civil War Soldier’s Bundle
What a great deal the bundle package is for all the records I received!
Working with a local school who is researching Civil War Veterans in a particular cemetery, we were very pleased with all the information we received. Not only did we obtain all their service and medical records, there were personal written letters, full listings of family members and so much more!
We will definitely be ordering more records and spreading the word of the great service we received from Gopher Records!

Awesome Service!
For years I have requested records via the National Archives. The records were expensive and wait time was long. The last record I requested was for select pages for a widow's pension, what I received was 2 pages. (I found more online). I heard about Gopher Records on a Civil War Facebook group. The records I requested from Gopher were pension and widow's pension records. What I received was beyond my expectations. The documents included the records for the widow's 2nd and 3rd husbands. The turn-around time was awesome and cost reasonable! Many thanks!

CMSRs of an Ohio soldier.
I had contacted Gopher Records quite some time ago, but until recently had not actually used the service.
Everything was outstanding.
The fee charged, the perfection and completion of the digital images furnished to me and the prompt attention ot my order were beyond my expectations.

Couldn’t Be Happier!
I have obtained CMSRs two ways...one through NARA and one through Gopher Records. From now on I will only use Gopher Records. They were professional, quick, and reasonably priced. The records were in color and organized. I couldn't be more thrilled! The folder I got from NARA was in B&W and incomplete (because it's so large). I'm now going to ask Gopher Records for that file so I can see it in its entirety. I own my business and know how important good reviews are. I'm happy to give them glowing remarks! Gray Stabley

Why have I never heard of Gopher Records?
Although I've done a lot of genealogy for women interested in joining the Daughters of the American Revolution, questions about a Civil War lineage weren't addressed in the usual on-line sources - and my experience with the National Archives is that they take a long time. So, when another application taskforce member suggested Gopher Records, I said "why not?"
Based on this experience, I am adding Gopher Records to my list of "go to" sources. They were prompt - and I mean within 48 hours prompt - and reasonably priced. This is a great resource that I'd never heard of [...]

Speedy, professional service
I've placed several orders with Gopher and only have the highest praise for the expeditious manner in which they get the job done. I've ordered from NARA directly in the past and it takes many months and if the file you've requested is more than 100 pages, it takes some back and forth before you can get the rest of it. With this service you get all the pages which are available. And, comparing the files I've received from NARA to those I've received from Gopher, I'd say Gopher's scanning is better.

Civil War Records
Gopher Records retrieved my great-grandfathers Civil War Pension Application and records, which were a treasure trove of information! It took a while due to Covid/NARA but Gopher kept me updated on their progress. Great service and worth every dime to find out his info!

Pension record for ancestors with many spellings of the last name
I was frustrated with finding a 1812 pension record for one of my ancestors. I had his service record but not the pension. I thought I had checked every possible spelling of his last name. GOPHER found the record I needed in a short time. I will use this service again as I research my early Virginia ancestors.
