If you need Civil War Records quick for a project, This is the place you want to go. I used to do this kind of thing but I'm 71 and dont have the time or money for the Archives anymore. I used to get the military and pension records, Courts Martial records and other things from someone that lived in the National Archives area but his Military career took him elsewhere.
