Instead of wasting hours and days, then weeks on trying to research my ancestors that fought in the Civil war, I took some great advise from people in an online Civil War forum and used Gopher Records to do all of the legwork for me. I ordered the Civil War Soldiers Bundle and was expecting to hear something in a couple of weeks. My results were sent to me 3 days later! The bundle contained records that I didn’t realize were available and a pension file that was over 200 pages thick. The information that I have discovered in these records is immeasurable.
