I recently worked with Bob to obtain the military and pension file of an ancestor who served in the Spanish American War. The military file was delivered quite quickly and was very reasonably priced. I attended a genealogy conference this year and asked where the best place to request Civil War pension files from, the National Archives or FOLD3? I have ordered Bounty Land Applications from both NARA and now Gopher records. The difference in quality is astounding. The records recieved back from NARA are black and white scans of photo copies.
