I recently worked with Bob to obtain the military and pension file of an ancestor who served in the Spanish American War. The military file was delivered quite quickly and was very reasonably priced. The pension file required more work to try and figure out who was currently holding those records. I attended a genealogy conference this year and asked where the best place to request Civil War pension files from, the National Archives or FOLD3?
