You really can't beat the service - a complete set of Civil War records in 10 days for less than it would cost me to go to NARA and do it myself (and with far less hassle). I will use Gopher Records wherever possible.

I was looking for a Civil War veteran’s service record because his obituary said he was a POW at Belle Isle and Andersonville and I couldn’t find anything online to verify that.
