I’ve searched for years to find answers to my ancestral riddles. Gopher found all the answers in a week, all I had to provide is a pension file number. The cost is far less than what I pay for subscriptions to well known genealogy sites. I highly recommend Gopher as a tool in the search for answers. Well done!

A friend suggested I try Gopher Records to find military medical, discharge and pension records for my 2nd Great Grandfather who was in the Civil War. Setting up the request on the website was fast and easy. I ordered Civil War files. Before the files were retrieved from the Archive, I was contacted to clarify details because the name in the files was spelled differently than in the index I had. I was allowed to decide whether or not it was the same person before being charged. Once I gave the go-ahead, I was given an approximate delivery date.
